Fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to provide IT support to our Geelong and Torquay offices! Work with a global team and develop your IT career!

This is a 12 month contract based in Geelong with some travel to Torquay involved.

The Challenge

As part of our national IT team, you will be required to provide high levels of technical assistance and support related to computer systems including hardware, software and telecommunications services across Australia and New Zealand corporate/retail environments. This role is highly customer focused as you respond to issues and requests, identify problems and logically determine and implement solutions.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in hardware, software, network troubleshooting and basic operating system functionality
Tertiary qualifications or previous service desk experience in IT is highly desirable
Current Australian drivers license, ability to travel between Geelong and Torquay offices with occasional trips for projects
Excellent communication skills & ability establish professional relationships with a range of stakeholders
Proven ability to research solutions or information regarding technical issues
You will have the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a high pressure environment while maintaining the utmost care and detail
Passion to learn various technologies and participate in upskilling opportunities.
Knowledge of and experience providing 1st & 2nd level technical support within a corporate or retail environment, including:
Active Directory
Office 365
Video Conferencing Systems
Point-of-Sale Retail systems
Wireless/LAN/WAN & Firewall Support
Windows and Mac PC Troubleshooting
Desktop Phone Administration IP/PABX
Desktop Imaging and Application Deployment
Remote Desktop Management & Connectivity
Business Application Support
Mobile Device Management
IT Service Management Systems
Business Integration experience especially with SAP End User support experience is beneficial

Due to the nature of the business, the position will have rostered weekend work and occasional out of hours requirements.
