MuleSoft Integration | Federal Government | Geelong, VIC | Long-Term Contract

Your new company
Hays IT in Geelong are currently partnered with a large federal government organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint a MuleSoft Integration Engineer for an initial 6 months contract role with a potential extension for another 18 months. In this role, Integration technical resource will support the business to develop APIs and integration solutions to integrate the Salesforce solution currently under development with the existing legacy systems including SAP and other services that make up the future Salesforce-based platform.

Your new role
MuleSoft Integration Engineer will be joining integration team and will ensure ICT development program as per strategic plan.
You will be responsible for :

  • Applying MuleSoft 4 experience to develop process and system API assets.
  • Collaborating with Architects, Integration Analysts, Designers, BA’s and Testers to interpret the end to end integration design and technical specifications to build the integration solution.
  • Adhering to the data replication approach for the replication, transformation, archiving and migration of data.
  • Maintaining the efficient operation of the end-to-end data integration process, including scheduling, error handling, and daily maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Executing configuration testing and documentation and support the SIT effort
  • Developing MuleSoft, CI/CD and Agile services within a DevOps environment
  • Facilitating training.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Proven 5 years of experience in integration development
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating Mulesoft 4 platform in a complex ICT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering REST based services including design of APIs.
  • Proven experience in Agile CI/CD development and working within a DevOps environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering with various stakeholders.
  • Government organisation experience is highly desirable.

Due to the nature of our client, for this role you MUST be an Australian Citizen OR a Permanent Resident living in Australia.
