Seeking Information Systems professional contributing to a digital transformation program of an organisation.

Your new company
Hays IT in Geelong are currently partnered with a large health care services government organisation having a presence in Western Victoria.

We are seeking to appoint an Information Systems Officer in Geelong, VIC for an initial 3 months contract role with a potential extension.

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for an ongoing review, design and development of information systems. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of system policies, processes, data quality, and user documentation to support internal and external stakeholders for their information needs.

Responsible for maintaining ongoing system and information quality and integrity, including data accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness resulting in low data error rates through regular audits.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in the use of information systems to meet organisational objectives.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience in servicing requests from a diverse range of people and organisations.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in integrating cloud-based applications utilising APIs (highly desirable)
  • Should have a current Victorian driver’s licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement of information systems.
  • Ability to provide training to staff in the use of information systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level computer skills with a proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
