The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner to join our Federal Government client in an assignment until March 2022 based in Geelong or Melbourne. This role will be EL2 equivalent and will pay $635 per day plus super.

The Role

The EL2 Digital Product Owner is a member of a newly established Branch, the role will help to define roles and responsibilities by assisting other teams to understand how they work with the team. It is important that the successful candidate can embrace ambiguity and have a self-motivated passion to find solutions that build the team brand and value in the process.

The team has a focus on making it easier for front-line staff to interact with participants and providers by increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the front-line and enhancing the experience of staff.

Responsibilities may include

• Facilitate workshops to capture key insights around user and customer experience gaps
• Conduct return on investment analysis on potential functionality and utilise insights to define a digital product roadmap with prioritised features
• Translate business problems into Epic themes and user stories
• Deliver products and business change programs associated with new tools and processes
• Facilitate ongoing consultation through product development stages and post release, ensuring user needs and accessibility requirements are met
• Collect and represent the requirements of the ‘Experience Delivery Group’ and ensure prioritisation with the technology delivery capacity of Salesforce CRM
• Educate stakeholders in the use of Salesforce CRM

About you

To be considered for this role candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven relationship management and engagement experience with the ability to work in partnership with stakeholders
• Supervision/coaching/leadership skills with the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience within a similar role and experience with Salesforce CRM
• It is desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in disability
