Seeking Enterprise Change Manager for a leading federal government organisation in Geelong, VIC

Your new company
Hays in Geelong are currently partnered with a large federal government organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint an EL1 Change Manager for an initial 12 months contract role with a potential extension. You will be focusing on maturing the enterprise change management systems and processes.

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing change management activities to ensure the smooth and effective introduction of new processes and assessing the impacts of change on staff, partners and other stakeholders.
You will be accountable for :

• Planning, coordinating and delivering detailed and complex change assessment.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert to keep up to date with new and emerging change management trends and practices in order to develop practical solutions to meet business needs.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience of change management methodologies and frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating change management plans and schedules.
• Subject Matter Expert on the development of business impact assessments and change management plans aligned with Change Management Framework and Change Blueprints.
• Able to Identify, assess and report possible change risks or issues, as well as recommending treatment strategies.
• Strong experience in apply project management methodologies to meet deadlines and produce high quality outcomes that address business needs within a complex environment.
• Expertise in defining team task and setting direction, business planning and developing staff capability through coaching and mentoring.
• Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency.
