Seeking UAT Test Analyst in Geelong, VIC

Your new company
Hays in Geelong are currently partnered with a large federal government organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint an APS5 Test Analyst to join organisation’s Business System Enhancement team for an initial 12 months contract role with a potential extension.

Your new role
In this role, you will be reporting to Test Manager and be responsible for facilitating the user acceptance testing of all solutions delivered by an organisation. You will be assisting the UAT Senior Test Analyst in facilitating the UAT of system enhancements by execution of testing, including raising defects and supporting business users undertaking testing.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in analysing solution documents and business requirements in order to create test scenarios and test cases.
• Demonstrated experience as a test analyst (minimum 1-2 years).
• Use and promote the use of agile principles, practices or frameworks.
• Analyse acceptance criteria, user stories, technical designs and wireframe/solution designs.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, test data and defects.
• Undertake testing of enterprise systems, cloud-based solutions and web applications.
• Investigate and triage defects raised by business users during UAT.
• Strong experience in JIRA, Confluence and automation tools.
• Prioritise own workload according to the milestones set by the Test Manager
• Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills.
• Government organisation experience is highly desirable
